The International Association of Law and Policy (IALAP) is an organization committed to providing high quality educational opportunities related to the development, implementation, and review of laws and policy and related issues of governments, institutions, and companies of the United States, and other countries of the world. IALAP provides a neutral forum for the generation of ideas and discussion of law and public policy. IALAP does not engage in advocacy activities.
The International Association of Law and Policy is affiliated with Northeastern University and was founded in 2009 by members of the first cohort of the Doctor of Law and Policy degree at Northeastern University. Membership is open to all individuals interested in the promotion of the study of law and policy.
IALAP pursues two major priorities:
1) to present conferences and publications for comprehensive discussion of major policy, legislative, regulatory, and enforcement actions and judicial decisions; and
2) to provide education and training in the practice of law and policy writ large.
The Association’s Purpose is to:
1. Support the scholarship related to the research and dissemination of law and policy activities.
2. Provide an opportunity for members to exchange and publish peer reviewed research and opinions on topics of general interests.
3. Facilitate the communication between individuals who are interested in law and policy issues.
4. Support and advance the careers and professional development of the membership. |
